After the Storm

It has been cool hanging out with my sibs. That's the only good thing Milenyo brought to us. That and a couple of realizations. It's fun doing what I love - but a storm can come any minute. I was not prepared for it. Therefore, my life got affected. Really affected. I wasn't as stable as I thought I was.

Had a cigarette session with my sister. Been a while since I last did that. I'm also touched because my brother's willing to give me money so that I can audition tomorrow. Regardless, I have to get back on my feet. A part of me does not want to audition anymore, but there's this one saying that life has to go on. Roll with the punches. Worry about it later.

Nakakasar lang. I felt cheated. I worked my ass off on 15 articles. How ironic that the theme of all those articles was "investment." They didn't pay me for a single one - saying that they edited it. Well, if I didn't write, they wouldn't have anything in the first place. I believe in the power of karma.

For that, I am saying yes to their offer. I will be a copy editor now. Hope for the best. I think there will be good points here.
